A Cranory pilot project was done with the help of Compass Housing Alliance, Seattle, Washington. A special thanks to Rodger Shands, Program Manager of the Veterans Center at Compass Housing Alliance and Randall Stephens, BSW Case Manager of the Veterans Center at Compass Housing Alliance.
In Randall's words, "The results coming from our veterans participating in the Cranory program revealed happier and better emotionally centered people. I feel as a case manager my clients better embraced the idea of recovery through this artwork process and believe that it has offered them a method of maintaining an essential outlook on life."
The three veterans participating in the pilot project offered encouraging comments at weekly gatherings when new base drawings were exchanged for finished ones.
